Prof. Dr. Carsten Kühl
Carsten Kühl holds a doctorate in political economy and is an honorary professor for political economics and finance at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer. He has been head of the German Institute of Urban Affairs since 2018. After working for several years at the Institute of Finance at the University of Mainz and at various ministries, he became a State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy and Transport, and then the Minister for Finance and Construction in the state government of Rhineland Palatinate. His research focuses on public finance and housing policy.
